Organic Sicilian Grey Lentils, a hidden treasure of our land, are
a special, prized variety, organically grown in the heart of the
of Sicily. They are distinguished by their unique colour, a dark green with mottling
tending to blue-black, and for the firm consistency they retain after
cooking. Although their origin is linked to the French region of Le Puy, their
cultivation in Sicily gives them a unique flavour, with slightly peppery notes that
are reminiscent of the volcanic terroir of our island.

 

Lentils are an ancient variety of legume that is very tasty and highly digestible, making them ideal for children's diets. They have a high protein value and are fully assimilable by the body.
